Description: The legal issues recent immigrants to the United States face are complicated, and access to qualified legal help in Southwest Florida is limited. The Land of Opportunity Fund was started to try to help immigrants handle these legal battles, and now they’re partnering with a longtime local immigration attorney to address the specific needs of immigrants in Southwest Florida.

Land of Opportunity Fund established at Southwest Florida Community Foundation – Two pilot programs launched – May 7, 2017

The Land of Opportunity Fund, an endowed field of interest fund of the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, has been established by an anonymous donor who will match donations of $50,000 or more with an additional $50,000. (Read more)
